Cape Lookout National Seashore
The Cape Lookout National Seashore is a 56-mile-long section of the Outer Banks that runs from Ocracoke Inlet to Beaufort Inlet. Primitive camping is allowed anywhere along this shore and fires of driftwood are permissible below the high water line. A free permit is required and is available at Harkers Island Visitor Center.

Calico Jack's Campground
Calico Jack's Campground features two campsites, each equipped with full hookups, water, sewage and cable TV. Nineteen sites are available for yearly rentals.
