The Old Burying Ground, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was deeded to the town of Beaufort in 1731. The graves of soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War are located here. Visitors enjoy self-guided and, for a fee, guided tours.
